Jacob F. Kieffer, D.D.S.
As a Maine native, Dr. Kieffer decided to attend the University of Maine following high school graduation. In 2012, he graduated from the University of Maine with distinction, earning his Bachelor of Science in Biology.
His desire to pursue a career in dentistry led him to Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Dalhousie University. Following graduation in 2016, Dr. Kieffer decided to complete an optional one-year General Practice Residency (GPR) program at Dalhousie University. This decision was based around his desire to expand his skill set and further his knowledge, to provide his future patients with a higher level of dental care.
A significant portion of this one-year residency program was spent in a hospital setting working within the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. During this time, Dr. Kieffer received advanced training in intravenous (IV) sedation, working with the medically compromised, and working as a member of an interdisciplinary team. He also received in-depth training in implantology, both surgical and restorative aspects.
Now in private practice, Dr. Kieffer has continued to demonstrate his commitment to excellence, lifelong learning, and providing dentistry at the highest level through continuing education programs. At an early stage in his career, Dr. Kieffer has already learned from some of the top clinicians and organizations including Kois, Spear, Pikos Surgical Institute, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He recognizes the importance of continuing this dedication to excellence throughout his career and will be taking on the challenge of additional credentialing over the upcoming years.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Kieffer enjoys spending time at home with his wife and their two little ones. He also enjoys cycling, snowboarding, and golfing.
Dr. Kieffer looks forward to spending the time to get to know every patient on a personal level and working with them every step along the way to achieving their best smile.
